What is Prenatal Testing?

Prenatal testing examines the condition of the fetus and mother during pregnancy,
with specific tests required at certain gestational weeks.

It can check for potential fetal anomalies such as birth defects or Down syndrome,
and also screen for conditions like gestational diabetes that may affect the mother.

Cervical Cancer Screening

A test that examines cervical cells under a microscope.

Since HPV, the main cause of cervical cancer, can be transmitted through sexual contact, it is important for women with sexual experience to get regular cervical cancer screening. Cervical cancer can be treatable if detected before it progresses to cancer, making regular screening important. The government supports free screening every 2 years, so eligible individuals should check their eligibility.

* Even-year births are supported in even years, odd-year births in odd years.

Pelvic Ultrasound

A test that checks the condition of the uterus and ovaries via ultrasound.

We examine the shape and size of the uterus and ovaries, along with any abnormal masses.

Before pregnancy, it is especially important to check for tumors
and plan appropriate treatment and pregnancy accordingly.
03

AMH (Ovarian Reserve) Test

A test that tells the age of your ovaries.

Through a blood test, the remaining eggs in the ovaries can be estimated.
After age 20, declining function can significantly impact future pregnancy plans.
04

Blood Tests

Checks for anemia, blood type, thyroid function, hepatitis B antibodies, and rubella antibodies.

Includes tests for syphilis, HIV, blood sugar, and vitamin D.
05

Pelvic Infection Test

Tests for 12 types of bacteria that cause vaginitis and pelvic inflammatory disease through vaginal discharge.

We check whether the vaginal environment through which sperm pass and the uterine environment where fertilized eggs implant are healthy.
06

Urinalysis

Cystitis may be suspected even without symptoms.

If protein or blood is observed in urine, further testing may be needed to identify the cause.
0106

Please check before the test

If menstruation is irregular, additional hormone testing may be needed.

If you have pets such as dogs or cats, related infection tests (CMV, HSV, Toxoplasma) may be recommended.
